Happy Book Birthday to this one!! Out Today!
Author: D.C. Stone
Summary from Goodreads: Gage and Dani have been through it all: the struggles of life, exciting military service, rocky relationships, and heart breaking deaths. In twenty-plus years of being best friends, they've never faced as big of a challenge as they do now. Can their friendship and hearts survive the ultimate test of time?
Disclaimer: I was awarded this book from Caffeinated PR. Though I did not pay for the book, the opinions are strictly my own.
Personal Review:
This book was just what I needed. I have been personally down a rabbit hole with school work lately and this book allowed me to come up for air. I really appreciated both Gage and Dani and their stories from their past. The characters are what made this book for me.
In general, I dont want to give away too many spoilers. But this book was a quick read, had its steamy moments, its ups and downs, and it kept me reading all the way to the end. I would say it was worth the time.
If you are looking for a bit of romance, then this may be the book for you.

#SIXFORSUNDAY
WHAT IS #SIXFORSUNDAY?
#SixforSunday was a little blog feature started in June 2017 by A Little But A Lot. It’s a weekly blog post where you get to share 6 books which fill a certain prompt. This week's theme is "Six Reasons You Love Blogging".
So without further ado...my reasons...
1) The opportunity to read new to me authors! I have been introduced to so many new authors who have reached out to me to say hey...check out my book. Love it!
1) The opportunity to read new to me authors! I have been introduced to so many new authors who have reached out to me to say hey...check out my book. Love it!
2) The inside scope for author interviews. I LOVE learning about what is the process or story behind the book. :)
3) My readers/you all! I am so grateful that you take the time to come by and say hi/share bookish thoughts with me.
4) In a way blogging is my little piece of the web. I love that I have a space for sharing my own thoughts.
5) Blogging has encouraged me to go beyond my comfort zone. I would have never thought of going to a book convention before starting the blog.
6) Reading Challenges! It motivates me to stay focused on reading and also I love the creativity. I enjoy blogging to bring you ones for you to participate in as well. The community is what keeps me doing what I do everyday.

Hi Everyone!
Just stopping by to let you know about a book that I am waiting on. I saw this one annouced last week and I am so excited!!
Author: Jodi Picoult
Summary from Goodreads:
From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Small Great Things and A Spark of Light comes a riveting novel about the choices that change the course of our lives.
Everything changes in a single moment for Dawn Edelstein. She's on a plane when the flight attendant makes an announcement: prepare for a crash landing. She braces herself as thoughts flash through her mind. The shocking thing is, the thoughts are not of her husband, but a man she last saw fifteen years ago: Wyatt Armstrong.
Dawn, miraculously, survives the crash, but so do all the doubts that have suddenly been raised. She has led a good life. Back in Boston, there is her husband, Brian, her beloved daughter, and her work as a death doula, where she helps ease the transition between life and death for patients in hospice.
But somewhere in Egypt is Wyatt Armstrong, who works as an archaeologist unearthing ancient burial sites, a job she once studied for, but was forced to abandon when life suddenly intervened. And now, when it seems that fate is offering her second chances, she is not as sure of the choice she once made.
After the crash landing, the airline ensures the survivors are seen by a doctor, then offers transportation wherever they want to go. The obvious option for Dawn is to continue down the path she is on and go home to her family. The other is to return to the archaeological site she left years before, reconnect with Wyatt and their unresolved history, and maybe even complete her research on The Book of Two Ways--the first known map of the afterlife.
As the story unfolds, Dawn's two possible futures unspool side by side, as do the secrets and doubts long buried beside them. Dawn must confront the questions she's never truly asked: What does a life well-lived look like? When we leave this earth, what do we leave behind? Do we make choices...or do our choices make us? And who would you be, if you hadn't turned out to be the person you are right now?
