The Christmas Songs Book Tag hosted by Jana is alot of fun! Thought I would play along...

1. “All I Want for Christmas Is You”: Favorite bookish couple.
Has to be Dash and Lily :)

2. “I’ll Be Home for Christmas”: Name a book where a character is away from home (school, vacation, etc.).
The first that came to mind was Lauren Atkins Live in Love, when she was in Africa away from Thomas Rhett. 

3. “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”: Name your favorite “little” book (children’s book, short story, novella, etc.).

4. “Santa Claus is Coming to Town“: What book(s) do you hope Santa brings you this year?
I am really looking forward to the Where She Walks: Stories about Women on the AT.

It's been awhile...hmmmm...

6. “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year”: Your favorite book/kind of book to read during the holidays.
I am not sure if I consistently read a book every year during the holidays. Maybe the new Elin book, which is usually out in October?

7. “We Three Kings”: Your favorite trilogy.
To all the boys I love before-and we are getting a new movie, so soon! 

8. “Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow”: A character you would love to be snowed in with.
Not a book-but definitely Rory from the Gilmore Girls. I think we would have a lot to talk about :)

9. “Last Christmas”: A book that seriously let you down.
I havent had enough books this year to have a strong opinion for this one. 

10. “White Christmas”: An upcoming release you’re dreaming about.
It was Ready Player Two and that did not disappoint!

Thanksgiving Feast Book Tag

Turkey: The centerpiece of any Thanksgiving Feast, but it’s always dry and actually isn’t that great… – A book that everyone likes, for some reason that completely escapes you.

Stuffing: Warm and filling, and best when smothered with gravy – A comfort read.

Potatoes: Boil ’em, mash ’em, stick ’em in a stew – A book that’s great in any format – hardcover, digital, audio…

Green bean casserole: the obligatory side dish that you have to have… whether you want it for not. – A book that you were obligated to read (for school, for a book club, because it was a gift…)

Not sure-I love Green Bean Casserole :) 

Cranberries: Do you serve real cranberries, or canned cranberry jelly? A book that is highly divisive – and you have strong opinions about it.

Pie: Whether it’s pumpkin, apple, pecan, or French silk, it’s not Thanksgiving without pie – A book you can’t live without.

Book Tag: Coffee Time!

Coffee...a free hug in a mug! I never really used to drink it and then I started and now I cannot stop. I saw this book tag circulating and decided to hop on in! 

Black: Name a series that’s tough to get into, but has hardcore fans.

  For me, that was the Hunger Games. It took me awhile to get past the idea 

  that people are 'tributes.'

Peppermint Mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or a festive time of year.
    Last year, was Let it, Snow! (Also on Netflix)

Hot Chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book?
     No questions asked: Chicken Soup with Rice by Maurice Sendak.

Double Shot of Espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
     Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I am fascinated by Newt's 

     collection :)

Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere.
      Lately, that has been Becoming by Michele Obama.

        Another hard question...I think that writing a book is hard. I try to give            credit to those who take the time to do it.

Thumbs Up, Seven Up

A game where most the class closed their eyes and seven people tapped someone’s thumb and you had to guess who did it without peeking.

Book where you peeked just REAL quick at the ending because you don’t like guessing games.

Any of the BSC Mysteries! :) I had to be sure it would turn out okay!

These were basically just Teddy Grahams dipped in frosting, which is still a wonderful snack idea.
