Hi Everyone! Hope you are well. It has been awhile since I have done a few mini reviews, so I wanted to stop by quick with an update.
Archie Vol.1
I first picked this one up based on the fact that show is now on CW. I havent really watched the show, but its been around for so long I thought I would give it a try. I liked it. The graphics were great and I was ready for the next show down between Veronica and Betty.
Girling UpThis book was brought to me because I really enjoy the character of Amy Farrah Fowler on Big Bang Theory. I appreciated the authors approach to explain what it is like to be a girl in today's society. She addresses a number of issues that are critical for success in today's world. Worth the read.
Ramona Blue
The newest book from Julie Murphy. Once again she is taking an attempt at addressing topics that are beyond the norm and I really appreciated it. The book was one that has an interesting plot and kept me wanting to know what would happen next. I enjoyed it.
A Dog's Purpose
This book has gotten alot of attention from the movie. I enjoyed that it offered multiple perspectives on why dogs matter in people's lives. I also appreciated the many stories throughout and the different ways in which this rings true. A happy book.
Alex and Eliza
Where are all my Hamilton fans? If you enjoy that story, you will most certainly enjoy this one. This is the romance of Alex and Eliza. I enjoyed the background and the story throughout. Thanks again to my friend Karen for this one!
Off Centered Leadership
Sam Calagione is back and he has many stories to tell. In this book, we gain additional insights about DFH and his work to create partnerships. I appreciated how he went about approaching them and the insights that he shares throughout. An interesting read!
Have you read any of these? What did you think?
Happy Reading!
